This is a completely redesigned version of my \u003ca target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/makerworld.com\/en\/models\/95135\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"\u003eearlier rubber band shooter\u003c\/a\u003e with a vastly simpler trigger and indexing mechanism, and more stretch for longer shots.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"background-color:rgb(255,255,255);color:rgb(33,43,54);font-size:16px;\"\u003eThe mechanism uses a pawl and ratchet for turning a worm gear that both advances the magazine and releases each band. Pulling the trigger causes the worm ¼ turn, advancing the magazine by one tooth. Loop one end of the band over the nose of the magazine and then hook the other end over the little nub above the gear-tooth gap.
