{"product_id":"7-5-3d-printable-fpv-drone","title":"7.5\" 3D Printable FPV Drone","description":"\u003cp\u003eYes, a 7.5\" 3D Printable FPV drone, hard to beleive such a big drone can be printed, and fly (somewhat) well!\u003cbr\u003eThis has taken me almost 2 years to design, and $1500 aud in plastic and parts for this\u003cbr\u003eYou will need to buy 2.5mm steel rods at any length\u003cbr\u003eThis drone weighs around 1kg to 1.5kg, so (depending on your country)  you might need to register it.\u003cbr\u003eThe weight of this drone does not mean it flies horribly, in fact, it can lift around 11 kg, including the frame. and it packs a punch at full throttle.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWARNING!\u003cbr\u003eThis can be an extremely dangerous drone as it is not 100% stable, it CAN cause alot of harm to you or others, but if you use it correctly, it will not do any of the sort\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePrint settings: (print out of Pa6-cf)\u003cbr\u003e- Print the body with 50% infil, and 6 walls, 6 top and bottom shell layers, and support from the build plate in tree support\u003cbr\u003e- Print the arms with 35% infil, 5 walls, 5 top and bottom shell layers, and support from the build plate only in tree support\u003cbr\u003e- Print the camera mounts (up and down) out of tpu (best is 85a) at 2 walls and 15% infil\u003cbr\u003e- Print the O4 spacers at 2 walls and 10% infil out of tpu (best is 85a)\u003cbr\u003e- Print the camera mount pins out of PLA\u003cbr\u003e- Print the landing gears with 3 walls out of tpu at 10% infil\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAssembly:\u003cbr\u003e1. Cut 10 steel rods at 26mm long and 2 at 24mm long\u003cbr\u003e2. Solder up the components, making sure there are connectors on as many components as possible\u003cbr\u003e3. Put the arms on the body, making the holes line up with the body and the arms\u003cbr\u003e4. (If using one) Put the camera on the camera mounts, and put them on the body, followed by filling in the 'triangle' gap with the camera mount pins\u003cbr\u003e5. Screw the stack screws in, and put the stack on with nyloc nuts\u003cbr\u003e6. Screw the motors in    USE THREADLOCKER!!!\u003cbr\u003e7. Screw the VTX in place behind the stack\u003cbr\u003e8. Thread the XT60 cable inbetween the VTX and the bottom plate\u003cbr\u003e9. Put the reciever inbetween the stack and the top of the body with double sided tape on the heatshrink covering the PCB\u003cbr\u003e10. Zip-tie the reciever antenna to the two side plated on the boy near the back\u003cbr\u003e11. Secure the excess motor wire down after connecting them\u003cbr\u003e12. Push the VTX antenna through the dedicated holes at the back of the frame and connect them to the VTX\u003cbr\u003e13. Insert the landing gears under the arms with the 'triangle' side going in first \u003cbr\u003e14. Thread the battery straps through the holes provided\u003cbr\u003e          AFTER THE CONFIGURATION\u003cbr\u003e15. Secure the propellers to the motors going with a 'props in' config.
