Initially, I planned to use metal hinges but could not find any in the appropriate size. Given the acrylic panels are only 3mm thick, I decided to 3D print the hinges using PETG material, which should easily handle the load. In previous versions, I noticed difficulty in adjusting the gap between the two doors—either the gap was too large or too small. To solve this issue, I added a slot to the hinge design, making it easier to adjust the door gap. For the installation of the aluminum profiles, I used M5*6 hex socket screws and M5 T-nuts for the European standard 15 profiles.
