It's very stable as well.

I liked the designer's use of multicolor, but anyone who's tried angled color changes like that knows that will lead to a 2 color transitions every layer over many layers and that is pure pain! Instead I made the upright section at the bottom one color and the angled section another. This still leads to 6 color changes because the hexagons extend below this transition, but it limits it to 6.

I used eSUN PLA+ light blue for the base and (amazing looking) IEMAI silver/blue silk dual color PLA for the angled portion.

No special print settings are needed. This is just 0.2mm layers, 15% grid infill, no supports, no brim.

Design by Fraoch on MakerWorld (license: BY-SA).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0987/0809/5280/files/0_82ec0e0e-2ddc-459a-8bc7-b9a71a05dff1.png?v=1785235881
