That being said, there are a couple of joints which definitely need a little extra tightening – specifically the ones on the mounts. If you don’t crank them down a bit, the movement is way too sloppy. I used two pairs of pliers: one to hold the bolt, and another pair (slip-joint\/channel-lock) to carefully tighten the nuts on the mounts. (See below under “Update 2” for a link to a wrench you can print for this task.)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cu\u003eArm Joints\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe joints securing the arm pieces together are VERY stiff \/ difficult to articulate. Really good if you want to keep the mount in one spot… not so good if you need to move\/articulate it frequently. You may be able to loosen the joints a bit by sanding the retaining-ribs down a little (where the joints mate). You may also have some luck with a little bit of lubricant. I actually snapped one of the arm-pieces when trying to adjust an angle. That happened with a loose-fitting nut (not tightened at all), so you have been warned! 😊 \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cu\u003eVersatility\u003c\/u\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eYou can easily add or remove arm pieces. I only needed the short arm piece for my installation. See my pictures for more details.
