Make sure you are fine with potentially re-soldering broken components.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe mod will make the back end of the drone heavier since the antenna is heavier and further out.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe tail was designed for use with the ELRS receiver that comes with the drone.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou will \u003cstrong\u003eneed\u003c\/strong\u003e 2.5 inch UF.L to SMA cable. I purchased a pack of five on Amazon. You can use longer ones (\u003cstrong\u003enot\u003c\/strong\u003e shorter) but you will have to manage the extra length your self.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe 2.5 inch UF.L to SMA cable is just long enough, any more strain might cause either the UF.L port or the cable to break, make sure to take care while installing.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eI am not responsible if you break your drone.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe STEP file is attached if you want to future tweak the model your self.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHOW-TO:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUnscrew and disassemble the top and bottom half of the drone.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUnplug the current antenna from the VTX\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUnscrew the VTX, flip it 180 degrees (such that the UF.L connector should now be near the camera) and screw it back in.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eCarefully\u003c\/strong\u003e push the smoothing capacitor connected to the flight controller in and to the side, such that it won't interfere with the coax cable.
