The main benefit is that you don't need to take it off to get something out of the bag.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eWhy do you want my version?\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou don't need a third hand to put this on since the middle part is attached to the main hinge.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe cap takes only 1\/5 of a turn to screw\/unscrew, and you can do it with one hand.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe hinges are shared with my new \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.printables.com\/model\/229538-print-in-place-bag-clip-2-parametric\" rel=\"nofollow\"\u003e\u003ci\u003ePrint-in-Place Bag Clip 2\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e, which is even more robust than the first one.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNo support, no post processing, no assembly.
