Not great if trying to keep the filament dry. (see picture below)\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/makerworld.bblmw.com\/makerworld\/draft\/727398\/2023-10-13_nvtgyweu36bl.jpg\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe issue wasn't bad enough to warrant a return, so I designed this latch assembly.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNow there's no gap:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cfigure class=\"image image-style-align-center\"\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/makerworld.bblmw.com\/makerworld\/draft\/727398\/2023-10-13_yl7otn8hkt2p.jpg\"\u003e\u003c\/figure\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe assembly fits snuggly onto the front of the AMS and the rotating arms work just like the original latches to secure the lid firmly in place whilst still allowing it to be easily opened.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe height of the Brace part is crucial to allow it to fit snugly to the AMS without falling off or being too tight to fit.
