I remember seeing something like this in a camper van, so took an old 6mm diameter bungee\/shock cord, cut it in half, and designed this bracket.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bracket is printed in two pieces, so that each can be as strong as possible, then they just slot into each other.  You thread the elastic cord through the bracket, fold it over and tape it or bind it with some thread and stuff it back into the whole, it's tight enough that the bend can't undo.
