cabinet-handle
Cabinet Handle

I turned one of my workbenches into a printer cabinet for my filament printers. I later added a resin printer. Since everything is in my unheated garage, I needed a way to keep the resin warm. I added a heater and thermostat but wanted to get a better seal around the doors so I added weatherstripping. The doors then needed some additional pressure to compress the weatherstripping and make a really good seal. I designed this handle with an angled bottom to apply pressure against the doors once twisted into place. I used a 1.5" long trim head deck screw and a couple of washers for the handle and 2 0.75" long #6 screws for the ramps that attach to the doors (I designed the ramps for 2 screws each but am unsure whether I will install the extra screws since it works great with only 1 screw each).

Everything is parametric in case you want to change something.

Design by Matthew on MakerWorld (license: BY).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0987/0809/5280/files/0_0c82dd0e-b3d4-46e1-bd25-fe0c2307558f.jpg?v=1784927464
