Then use mesh boolean function at the top pannel, chose subtration, then select the pen cap first, then the cylinder and check the box for “Delete Input”. This will help you quickly make a pen cap that fits for every pen size! Support shouldnt be necesary, but can be added if you printer isn't good with overhangs.
