I had good success with ABS or ASA due to the ease of support removal, but you could potentially print in your preferred material such as PLA or PETG. You might be able to print without support if you rotate it to where the two open hole point upwards like a Y, and sink the semi-flat spot in the ack into the buildplate, ut I have not tried printing it that way.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003chr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eretainer.stl:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis should be printed with the threaded part upwards. Now available in version without requirement of support. ABS worked perfectly for this. Make sure that the thin lip on the inside rim gets printed properly as this will mate with the vacuum hose.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\u003chr\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003esnap_ring.stl:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI have found that the snap ring should be printed in a semi-flexible material, otherwise it will break the layer adhesion. PBT worked perfectly due to strong layer bonding. I would assume Nylon would be good too.
