Flanged Bushing – Fully Parametric

This is a fully parametric flanged bushing (plain bearing) created in OpenSCAD.

The model allows quick generation of custom bushings by changing only a few parameters.
No mesh editing required.

Designed with FDM 3D printing in mind.

⚙️ Adjustable parameters

- Inner diameter (shaft diameter)

- Outer diameter

- Bushing length

- Flange diameter

- Flange thickness

- Optional second flange (with independent thickness control)

- Optional chamfer on the far end of the body

All dimensions are defined in millimeters.

🛡️ Built-in validation
The model includes parameter assertions — if incompatible values are entered (e.g. inner diameter larger than outer, or flange smaller than the body), will report a clear error instead of generating broken geometry.

⚠️ Disclaimer

This model is intended for prototyping and light mechanical use.
Not suitable for high-load, high-speed or safety-critical applications.
