So I decided to design my own.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnd because I like a good challenge, I made sure this holder can handle \u003cstrong\u003ea wide range of spool sizes\u003c\/strong\u003e — from small 250 g cardboard spools all the way up to large 2 kg ones. Don’t worry, it holds them all securely!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cfigure class=\"image\"\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/makerworld.bblmw.com\/makerworld\/model\/DSM00000001932296\/design\/2025-10-27_94f1430cf13f4.gif\"\u003e\u003c\/figure\u003e\u003cp\u003eAnother goal was \u003cstrong\u003estrength and durability\u003c\/strong\u003e, so the print orientation of each part was carefully chosen to provide maximum load capacity.\u003cbr\u003eI also wanted something I could use \u003cstrong\u003eboth on the printer and inside a storage cabinet\u003c\/strong\u003e, and that wouldn’t get in the way when not in use. That’s why this holder is \u003cstrong\u003equickly detachable and easily swappable\u003c\/strong\u003e for other versions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo make it even better, the design supports \u003cstrong\u003e608ZZ bearings\u003c\/strong\u003e, hidden neatly inside the roller for smooth rotation.\u003cbr\u003eNo bearings? No problem! Just use the \u003cstrong\u003eBasic set\u003c\/strong\u003e and add a little grease to the pegs — the spool will spin smoothly enough.\u003cbr\u003ePrefer a completely solid, non-rotating setup?
