This final version is robust and stable enough to even hold heavy books, while still being light and portable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe viewing angle can be adjusted easily.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlso, the stand folds completely flat, which makes it easy to transport it in your backpack or to discretely store it between your books.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTwo wings can be spread out to hold the book in place.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cfigure class=\"image\"\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/makerworld.bblmw.com\/makerworld\/model\/DSM00000001060795\/design\/2025-02-01_0qz3eojmed4r.gif\"\u003e\u003c\/figure\u003e\u003ch4\u003eHow to Print\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eI printed the model you can see in the pictures on a Prusa MK3S+ in PLA with a layer height of 0.2mm. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cfigure class=\"image image_resized image-style-align-left\" style=\"width: 50%\"\u003e\u003cimg src=\"https:\/\/makerworld.bblmw.com\/makerworld\/model\/DSM00000001060795\/design\/2025-02-01_yaiiputrswba.gif\"\u003e\u003c\/figure\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe object also fits on a 180mm x 180mm bed, so that you can print it for example on a Prusa Mini. I would advise against scaling it further down, since the tolerances might become to tight. However making the object larger in your slicer should not be an issue.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe stand should print nicely with your standard settings and \u003cstrong\u003ewithout supports\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAs always, make sure that your filament is dry since this will have an impact on the strength of the hinges.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you run into problems while printing, here are:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA few tips\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf you can see, that the different parts are touching on the first layer, you might want to introduce Elephant foot compensation. (For PrusaSlicer, you can find this setting in the \u003ci\u003eAdvanced \u003c\/i\u003esettings of your \u003ci\u003ePrint Settings\u003c\/i\u003e)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFor the hinges, we need to print some bridges, so it might be worth to optimize the related settings. A good idea could be to reduce the speed for \u003ci\u003eBridges\u003c\/i\u003e. Also you can try to adjust the \u003ci\u003eBridge flow ratio.\u003c\/i\u003e \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMoreover, decreasing the temperature of the nozzle or improving part cooling can be beneficial for the bridges.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003ch4\u003eMake it your own\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eI have included the STEP file as well as my Fusion design file.
