My model is a complete redesign of that swivel lock with some small improvements:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe lock over-rotates by a few degrees (the top side is at an angle), making it less likely to open when you rattle the shelf\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eA small lip is added to the finger dimple to make the lock easier to open\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe model is symmetric and the same print can be used on either side.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInstalling the lock swivel may allow leaving out the supporting wood strip from behind the bottom of the shelf as the lock itself acts as a backing support piece. A “wide” version is provided with even larger support area.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eA Fusion 360 model is provided for further tuning.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\u003cli\u003e2026-04-01:  Minor fix, a single edge had a missing fillet.
