The to-go cup was selected to fit so the cup goes in most of the way and the lid is just above the top, it is stable, some taper to-go cups especially the thicker insulated ones are not stable.  \u003cbr\u003eo However even with a stable and good fitting cup, I put my finger on top the cup when going over bumps to minimize the movement and keep in place as bumps or jumps may cause your beverage to bounce out. \u003cbr\u003eo Some movements may cause yoke to rotate around then beverage may fall out.  One may put an elastic band around yoke and anchor to clamp, which can limit rotation and still allow to self balance.
