The transmission distance is a measure of the translucency of a filament. We prefer to use black as we find it gives the clearest results. You'll insert a pause in your slicer at 0.88mm and switch out your filament to the color you are testing. Each color square increases in thickness by 0.08mm up to 0.88mm thick.
