It's a VERY snug fit and will take a little wiggle jiggle.  I also found on a few pieces that a couple of passes on the joint tail  with some fine grit sandpaper helped.  A bit of glue couldn't hurt, but they hold just fine without it.  There are 2 versions of the base - one with a hole already placed (13mm) and one without so you can put your own shape if you want.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe face is glued on.
