There are 3 types included, more on this below.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eSlide Lock\u003c\/strong\u003e: The base of the fin that slides into the paddleboard.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eClip\u003c\/strong\u003e: The clip that holds the fin, the\u003cstrong\u003e slide lock\u003c\/strong\u003e, and the paddleboard together.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e[Not printable]: Twine or rope for securing \u003cstrong\u003eClip \u003c\/strong\u003eto \u003cstrong\u003eFin\u003c\/strong\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e[Optional]: M2.5 x 20mm bolts can be screwed through the \u003cstrong\u003eSlide Lock \u003c\/strong\u003eand into the \u003cstrong\u003eFin\u003c\/strong\u003e for added strength\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\u003ch4\u003eAssembly\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003e1. Remove all support structures, \u003cstrong\u003eincluding the supports under the clip\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e2. Align the 3 cleats on the fin with the 3 holes in the the Slide Lock. Slide the fin backwards. Try pushing the clip through the hole. If it goes straight through without locking, you might not have seated the fin correctly in step 1. Use a piece of twine or rope to connect the clip to the two holes in the side of the fin.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e6. Slide the fin into the paddleboard and lock it in place with the clip.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003eWhat's the difference between the fins?\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eI will admit I am no expert in this field. The designs are based on some rules of thumb I found regarding manueverability, tracking, and stability. I'm sure there is room for improvement.
