The 1420ThreadAdaptor file skips the heat insert, and has modeled ¼-20 threads, which most modern printers can handle. The DirectThread model requires no additional hardware, but does require a quality printer. I was able to get adequate threads with .12 layer height on my Bambu P1S, but it was quite stiff.
