If you have resized (under Further Personalisation below), please check the Z height under Scale is 2.20mm\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e🔧 Further Personalisation\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eFor \u003cstrong\u003elonger names\u003c\/strong\u003e, consider \u003cstrong\u003eresizing\u003c\/strong\u003e the tag to keep lines from becoming too thin.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003eHow to Resize\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003e1. Select the \u003cstrong\u003ewhole tag\u003c\/strong\u003e (not individual parts).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e2. Set the \u003cstrong\u003eZ height back to 2.20mm\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cblockquote\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003ci\u003eThis keeps the gingerbread layer at 1.5mm, icing at 0.7mm, and the name at 0.75mm. Double-check the Z height of “To Name” (Move → verify it’s 0.75mm).\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/blockquote\u003e\u003cp\u003eFinally, \u003cstrong\u003eslice and preview\u003c\/strong\u003e your model. If the fill looks odd or too thin in the name, tweak the \u003cstrong\u003einner and outer wall line widths\u003c\/strong\u003e of To Name (the ones with padlock icons) until it looks solid. I'd recommend following the same process if changing fonts too.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch3\u003e🧰 Troubleshooting\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf your tag slices or prints with the name appearing too early (before the icing layer), or you see white “icing” artefacts appearing on the gingerbread section, don’t worry!\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis usually happens because Bambu Studio has automatically changed the Z height of the name object.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHere’s how to fix it:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e1. In \u003cstrong\u003eBambu Studio\u003c\/strong\u003e, click on the \u003cstrong\u003eTo Name\u003c\/strong\u003e object in the \u003cstrong\u003eObjects\u003c\/strong\u003e panel.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e2. Click the \u003cstrong\u003eMove\u003c\/strong\u003e icon in the top toolbar.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e3. Check the \u003cstrong\u003eZ height value, \u003c\/strong\u003eit should be \u003cstrong\u003e0.75mm\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e4.
