{"product_id":"presence-sensor-housing","title":"Presence Sensor Housing","description":"\u003cp\u003eThis is a housing for a 30-pin ESP32 with USB-C, an HLK-LD2450 mm wave radar sensor kit, and the sensor's Bluetooth antenna.  The other housings I found put the radar sensor behind the ESP32, which seemed like it could cause interference.  The foot of the other model didn't work very well either, so I decided to make my own.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDesigned for the ELEGOO ESP32 (https:\/\/a.co\/d\/cwva4je) and HLK-LD2450 kit (https:\/\/a.co\/d\/dWxw6Zg) but most 30-pin or 32-ping ESP32s should fit\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFront face design falls below the interior of the housing to help hide the USB-C connection\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eVented on the sides and back so it has air flow even when stuck flat to a wall or into a corner\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFoot is removable and clips onto the side vents\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFoot height is also adjustable so the gap can be sized properly to fit your USB cable\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eLid is a friction fit and is overlapped along the front to prevent LED light from shining through\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo assemble:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInsert the ESP32 first.  Gently wiggle the ESP32 side-to-side to get the support fin between the ESP32's pins and the electronic components on the board and it should slide right in.  \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWrapping the HLK-LD2450's antenna wire over the top of the sensor, slide the tip of the Bluetooth antenna into the slot in the front with the solder blob attaching the wire facing towards the sensor.  You won't be able to fully seat the Bluetooth antenna until the sensor is in place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eInsert the HLK-LD2450 oriented as shown in the pictures, gently wiggling the sensor side-to-side to work the support fins around the electronic components on the sensor to get it fully seated.  It's a snug fit.  \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTuck the wires into the cavity in the middle and make sure they stay in the notches on the fins so the top can close.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e(Optional) Put a dab of hot glue on the top of the ESP32 slots and on the wires in the notches to keep them from moving around.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePush on the top.  It should fit flush with the top edge of the housing body.  If it doesn't, make sure your wires are staying in the support fin notches and that your boards are fully seated.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\u003cp\u003eDesign by SigSegV on MakerWorld (license: BY).\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mymadmanlab","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":67391373574448,"sku":null,"price":6.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0987\/0809\/5280\/files\/0_54b12296-59f7-4195-b2e2-9016f4b738ef.png?v=1784749141","url":"https:\/\/mymadmanlab.com\/products\/presence-sensor-housing","provider":"Mymadmanlab.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
