Now wind the wire tightly in the threaded grove all the way to the top.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eCut the bottom of the steel wire with some plyers to release it from the hole.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eGet the spring of from the SpringMaker by gently screwing it upwards.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eHeat the spring until it is glowing red to release any tensions in the steel.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eReady to use!\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\u003cp\u003eNotes:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe model creates spring which are about 12mm in diameter measured from the center of the wire. Scale it to your needs but mind that the hole at the bottom might need to be drilled to make the wire fit after scaling.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI used regular steel wire for this and they are surprisingly strong and hold their shape.
