The sliders click right in until the last one of each column, because the room to flex is taken up by the previous sliders, it needs a little extra push but goes right in. The sliders require a bit of break-in to get them sliding easy enough for their little fingers. After assembly just slide each one side to side (15-20 cycles) while applying a little pressure.
