It can be used for cables, music cables, as headphone holders or whatever works for you. I also wanted to try some parametric modelling with SCAD, so here it is. I tried to give to each parameter a meaningful name, however if it's not self-explanatory just ask. The main parameter to be changed is the shelf thickness, which depends on your specific case (i.e. the actual thickness of your shelf\/desk\/table…).
