The flat wall piece fits behind your outlet's wall plate, requiring no modifications to your wall or outlet to install as long as you have a somewhat standard outlet cover plate. Open it in Fusion 360, and the relevant dimensions are documented and can be customized in the User Parameters. Replace and screw in the wall plate as normal. This should anchor the wall piece solidly against the wall with minimal wiggle-room. The box piece should then slide in with a small amount of force (make sure you line up all four dovetails at the same time).
