An optional pivot “axle” piece is also included that can be snapped into the bottom of the body to turn it into a spinning top.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNo supports are needed for printing, and the “connector” and “appendage” pieces are oriented as they should be for optimal strength (i.e. they print at a 45 degree angle).  I used a brim for printing all of the small pieces, and set my “brim gap” at “.3 mm” (just to make the brim a little easier to pull off cleanly).  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo create one like shown in the pictures you'll need to print 30 connector pieces and 6 appendage pieces, and press hard on the pivot “axle” piece to get it to permanently snap in (it should be flush around the sides, like shown in the pictures).
