Starlink Mini Mount

I wanted to share my solution for mounting my Starlink mini on the sunroof of my Tesla during road trips and remote work. After looking at several ready-made options, I didn't want to deal with the hassle of suction cups, so I decided to create my own design.

I tested a few other mounts before I built this one, and the biggest issue I encountered was that they scratched the vinyl surface of the sunroof and rattled while driving. To solve both problems, I designed the mount to be slightly smaller than the sunroof opening, which allows for a 2mm thick felt pad on each side (as seen in the images). This simple adjustment completely fixed the rattling and the scratching, making it the perfect solution for me.
