tt-motor-mount
TT Motor Mount

This is a holder for the ‘yellow TT motor (dual axis)’ that you can find on aliexpress. It is often used with Arduino projects together with an H-bridge driver board. These motors have an internal gear reduction of about 1:48 and often run at 3.5 to 6 Volts.

This holder is designed so you can ‘snap’ the motor in and it will probably hold the motor well enough but there is a self-tapping hole to lock down the middle end of the gearbox. (Just use a M3-10 screw but don't over-tighten it!)

There are 2 M3 holes to mount the gearbox body to the holder and 4 M3 holes at the corners to fix the holder plate to something else.

The 4 M3 holes are on a 30mm grid.

The gearbox is not symmetrical. The side that has a small cylinder next to the rotating axis should be inserted facing down. If you insert it the wrong way there will be a few mm space between the gearbox and the mounting plate!

Not tested with the single axis motor from Bambu that looks very similar but only has one axis.

The .step file is included in the downloads.
<boostme><boosttitle>Boost Me</boosttitle><boostcontent>Boosts appreciated!</boostcontent></boostme>
Design by hb2024 on MakerWorld (license: BY).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0987/0809/5280/files/0_550a7000-591c-4ff4-97d3-3c1d8a89dbdd.png?v=1785819529
