These type of zippers are apparently called “reverse coil” or “reverse bale” sliders. So I recreated the slider to fit my zipper and added two different style pullers as well.

Can be attached to a zipper without unsewn ends.

If you need a standard bale zipper, see my other design.

Dimensions

Print instructions

I printed mine in PETG on a standard 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height. Having a part of the zipper closed makes it easier for final assembly with glue.

If the test fit worked good, add some glue to the connecting parts of the bottom and top parts of the slider and also the handle. Watch out that you do not get any glue on the zipper itself. Place the parts again around the zipper and hold them in place. Place the zipper handle on top, but don't forget to insert the puller first. Hold everything firmly together and let the glue dry.

Changes

May 25st 2025: added a v2 of both pullers with a bigger hole so the puller can flip both ways on the printed zipper slider.

Design by MisterJ on MakerWorld (license: BY-SA).

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0987/0809/5280/files/0_3c6f4a88-7d59-4671-a112-d77928a7d560.png?v=1785803681
