This version features a smooth shaft section between the threads – useful when screwing into quick release plates or L-brackets, allowing them to stay in place even when not fully tightened, just like in the photo.

The knob is easy to grip and turn by hand, with a ridged outer edge that gives you good control when mounting your gear.
