Armadillo Snack Box (print-in-place)
What's the best way to make friends and influence people? Serve them snacks! Inspired by Mako Designs' Folding Basket, this print-in-place snack box curls up like a couple of cuddling armadillos when closed. It will stay closed by itself, but using optional magnets (two 8mm dia x 3mm thick that are glued in place) lets it close with a satisfying snap.
The 3MF file for the X1 (which should work with all Bambu printers) has a color switch at 2mm to add nice accent stripes. The 3MF file for the H2D prints each cover section with alternating colors.
Note that after printing, the edges of each cover section have a small tab brim that needs to be clipped away. And after printing, it'll take just a little wiggling and prodding to get each cover section freed up. (Note the clearances between the sections is 0.3mm, so you'll need dry filament and a well tuned printer.)
