Dual Hose Adapter Kit for Portable AC Intake Mod

⚠️ Important Note:
This model is a compilation of several 3D files originally created by other designers. I am not the original author of these models. I simply gathered them and made minor modifications in some cases.

This Mod adds a second air intake hose to the hot side of the AC unit. By doing so, it prevents the unit from pulling air from inside the room, which can create a negative pressure. Avoiding this pressure imbalance helps prevent hot air from being drawn in from outside through leaks, doors, or windows.
As a result, the system runs more efficiently and maintains better indoor comfort.

Please note that the dimensions shown in the PDF are calculated from the 3D model. 

Small differences may occur after printing due to printer calibration, material shrinkage, and print settings.

Please double-check all dimensions before printing to ensure compatibility with your specific AC unit. 

Idea from @user_3786777188: If you have any doubts, you can cut and print the small top part first. If the screw hole lines up correctly, it should work for the larger part too.

  Original model designed for the Trotec PAC 3000 X A+ air conditioner. Forms the base of this remix.

• 💨 Hose Adapter (optimized version)
  Used to connect a 150 mm (5.9") air exhaust or intake hose. This version is more filament-efficient than the one in the original model while remaining fully functional.
  🧭 Thread direction: Clockwise (right-hand thread).
  🔄 If needed, you can invert the thread direction (to counter-clockwise) by applying a mirror/flip operation in your Slicer on the appropriate axis (typically Y or Z).

  Originally created for general ventilation use. In this remix, it has been modified to fit a 140 mm diameter hole with 20 mm depth, perfect for integration into a window or panel.

• 🔒 Quick Twist Lock for Hose Mounting (Bonus)
  This is the model I personally use to secure the hose to a wooden board or window panel. I’m including it here as a bonus, because it works extremely well and adds a clean, secure finish to the setup highly recommended!
