HP elitedesk / prodesk G4 mini PC holder
This is my modded holder for mounting this HP mini PC as a router near my ISP modem.
The mods are more openings/holes, for better ventilation and less fiament usage. In addition I added some lenght to fit whole PC dimensions 175x178mm and in the end modelled slightly thicker walls to 1.6mm.
I also made a variant for mounting under a desk or shelf for future projects.
The spacers are 6mm heigh and 100x100 VESA compatible.
My PC, 65W model, has top ventilation so that must be respected. Also the chipset can heat up the bottom, so that has also to be keeped free.
This variant “DESK” models have 35 mm. internal height so the bottom sticks ~4 mm. out from underneath.
The “FRONT” model can be used with the “DESK” models to avoid accidental loosening the PC.
The model “WALL” can hold the whole PC as it has an internal heigt of 39.5 mm. and has sufficient free ventilation space.
The bottom has to point to the wall.
This models can be printed without support.
I used a P1S with PLA+ and 20% infill and its fine.
It takes 66 to 75 gram of filament.
