IKEA ALEX (wide) Gridfinity Baseplate Stacked Kit

A Gridfinity Baseplate Kit for the IKEA Alex Drawers (wide version). Prints out one drawers worth of baseplate in one go, rather than six separate prints!

I had to trim 0.35mm off the top of the original models for these to stack properly, but that doesn't hurt the functionality at all.

Print Instructions

• Any basic PLA should work
• 0.2 mm layer height required for proper slicing
• 0.4 mm nozzle
• Surface ironing can be done, but isn't required and adds unnecessary print time

The Grid is 14x10 and up to 8 height on the smaller drawer and 10 height on the Larger bottom ones.

 

The side clearance is enough so you wont touch the sidescrews with any normal size drawer.

 

The last 3 grids on the back are not easy to reach and not reachable from the top so it is suggested to use them for “deep storage”.
