LED Strip Spiral Mount for 3D LED Lamps

Anyone who’s tried adding LED strips inside a 3D printed lamp knows the struggle: the strips want to curl in the direction they were packaged (lights facing outward), making it hard to get an even light distribution—especially in curved or complex shapes. Adhesive backing helps, but it’s often tricky to apply neatly on tight or irregular interior surfaces, and coiling the strip inside can lead to awkward dead zones or hot spots.

This 12mm-high Archimedean spiral solves that problem. It prints flat with a brim (for bed adhesion and a gluing surface) and provides a clean path to guide your LED strip through the interior. The result is more consistent spacing, better light distribution, and a simpler assembly process.

It works well with common LED strips like WS2812B and others, offering a flexible, fast-printing solution for lamp projects. Total print time is under 20 minutes in most cases and uses very little filament.
