LEGOs SPEED CHAMPIONS F1 COVERED FRAME
Extra Items Needed:
- M3x6 mm Allen screws is the minimum requirement but you can go up to M3x19 mm the hole is pretty deep (it will be a bit hard to screw in because the hole is pretty small i had given this to prevent the screw from loosening up from the print and eventually the glass falling out )
- GLASS DIMENSIONS - 241mm x 148mm x 2mm (fits the usual framing glass need to be cut up to the exact dimensions or you can use 2mm plexiglass or acrylic, but i find glass to give a proper framed look)
- Superglue to paste the plaque and the minifigure
- Double Sided Tape (optional)
Instructions:
The mini figure holder can be stuck anywhere as per your wish there is plenty of room in there, the holder has pretty high tolerance as i don't want the figure or the helmet to come out after you have screwed in the glass, so you need to press hard on the helmet to get it to go inside the holder but it can be removed later if you wish.
The glass needs to go inside the cutout slot given it must not be sandwiched between the print or need holes for the screws to go through it, it just sits there in between the slot.
I found a small bit of 3M double sided tape helps the car to stick to the frame and not move around when tilted but its optional if you are not going to move around the frame or tilt it.
I have provided slot to hang the frame ( the usual frame hanger type ), just use the usual drywall screws but make sure the head fits the slot.
IF ANYTHING NEEDS TO BE CUSTOMIZED AS PER YOU REQUIRMENT YOU CAN ALWAYS DROP THE PROVIDED STEP FILES ON TO FUSION 360 OR ANY OTHER CAD SOFTWARE TO EDIT IT
