Rugged Thumb Nut Covers | Grip Knobs (M3-M10)

This is the "small parts" extension of my rugged nut cover set. It transforms standard small-to-medium hexagonal nuts into ergonomic knobs that are easy to tighten and loosen by hand.

Just like the larger version, these feature a deep, rugged tire-tread pattern for maximum grip. They are perfect for adding tool-free adjustments to your 3D printed projects, camera mounts, or small workshop fixtures.

Why print this?

• Tool-Free Convenience: No need to grab a tiny wrench for every small adjustment.
• Enhanced Grip: The textured knob gives you much better torque than trying to turn a small nut with your fingers.
• Finished Look: Gives a professional, finished appearance to exposed bolts on your projects.

Printing Instructions:

• Material: PETG, ABS/ASA, or PLA. TPU is fantastic for a rubbery grip.
• Fit: Designed for a tight friction fit. You may need to press them firmly on a flat surface to seat the nut. Due to their small size, ensure your printer is well-calibrated. If they are too loose, a tiny drop of superglue is a permanent fix.
• Supports: None required (print flat on the closed face).
