Nespresso Vertuo capsules tower/carousel. Stackable, can hold from 8 to whatever number of capsules you wish !
No tool or bearing needed, just some drop of grease to improve rotation (optional)
The tower is provided in different capacities, and they can be stacked (with the connector), so you can get the height you want.
Also, the 355 and 535ml capsules are bigger, so it need more space between capsules.
The ‘regular' tower handle capsules from 40 to 230ml, the ‘tall’ can handle any size, but needs more space and filament… It's your choice ;)
Regular (handle capsules from 40ml to 230ml) :
- regular-tower_2u.stl : 8 capsules (66mm height)
- regular-tower_4u.stl : 16 capsules (132mm height)
- regular-tower_6u.stl : 24 capsules (198mm height)
- regular-tower_8u.stl : 32 capsules (264mm height, doesn't fit X1/P1 volume)
Tall tower (handle capsules from 40ml to 535ml)
- tall-tower_2u.stl : 8 capsules (82mm height)
- tall-tower_4u.stl : 16 capsules (164mm height)
- tall-tower_6u.stl : 24 capsules (246mm height)
- tall-tower_8u.stl : 32 capsules (328mm height, doesn't fit X1/P1 volume)
All pieces should connect and stay in place, but you can glue it to assemble permanently.
Note : If you don't want to turn it into a carousel, just don't print the ‘Rotating Base’ part
Update 2024-01-05:
Adde new ‘tall’ tower parts to handle capsules up to 535ml
Update 2023-12-21:
As suggested in the comments, I modified the towers to add a chamfer to avoid some internal bridges. STL files and print profile updated
Update 2023-12-16:
- Added knurling on the handle for a better grip
- Added 2 new handles, a bigger one with Nespresso logo on top, and one that looks like a capsule. To be backward compatible it seats on the small handle (it acts as a connector)
- Added forgotten file tower-connector.stl (was into print file already)
Update 2023-12-13:
- Adjusted the top hole size for a better fit with the handle, the previous was a little bit too big. Also, I modified the top part to close the hole, to be easier to seat the handle.
- Improved rotating base, now more stable, specially with taller tower
