Wall Lamp Shade: Textured Replacement Collection

Upgrade your home lighting with these unique, patterned lamp shades designed to replace standard, dated glass globes. This collection features five distinct imprinted designs to match any aesthetic: Hearts, Roses, Spiral Tiles, Gears, and Wave Ribs.

These shades are 150mm (6”) diameter globes designed with a "Socket Mount" (Hole) that fits standard threaded light holder sockets with a 40mm diameter (E26 or E27) lamp socket base. The globe mounting hole is a strong base so there is no issue with removal from print plate and plenty of support for mounting.

For the best results with translucent filaments, I recommend using a 0.6mm nozzle and 0.42mm layers to maximize clarity.

• Optimal Setup: A 0.6mm nozzle with 0.42mm layer height provides excellent light transmission. Use the 1.2mm wall STL.
• Regular Filament: A 0.4mm nozzle with 0.20mm layer height should be enough. Use the 0.8mm wall STL.
• Note: Using smaller nozzles or thinner layers may result in increased haziness and visible "shutter" lines in the final print.

I have provided two versions of the models to suit your hardware:

• 1.2mm Wall Thickness: Optimized for 0.6mm nozzles and 0.42mm layer.
• 0.8mm Wall Thickness: Optimized for 0.4mm nozzles and 0.20mm layer.

Technical

• Supports: Generally not needed for most globe patterns. However if your slicer suggests supports, then use minimum support settings.
• Walls: Designed to be printed with 2 walls.
• Infill: 15% which only affects the support base.
• Material: Photographed in PETG Translucent.

Obvious warning: Not recommended for use with halogen or high-wattage/high-heat incandescent bulbs. These shades are designed specifically for use with low-wattage LED bulbs to prevent heat deformation of the filament.
