X99 2011 CPU Cooler Mounting Bar X99正方形散热器扣具
*本扣具基于酷冷至尊T400设计,理论上其他散热器固定孔的间距不同,仅需调整宽度即可。

最近新入手了一个X99主板,用于组建算力主机。结果发现很难找到合适的CPU散热器:服务器淘汰品噪音巨大、规格受限,不适合家用;普通PC散热器多半不适配2011接口,而且很多是下压式设计,容易挡到内存。
基于上述情况,我打算把之前的CPU散热器利用起来,其中就包括一个只有1511扣具的酷冷至尊T400。在淘宝寻找原装2011扣具无果后,简单地做了这个设计,为了避免塑料强度不够,把扣具加厚到了5mm。
设计本身很简单,但反正做都做了,分享给大家,万一能够帮到有需要的人,能避免一点重复发明车轮的麻烦也好。
用法:用散热器自带的T3螺丝固定扣具本体,用主板自带的长螺丝把装好扣具的散热器固定在CPU上。
*This mounting bracket is designed based on the Cooler Master T400. Theoretically, for other heatsinks with different mounting hole spacings, only the width needs to be adjusted accordingly.

I recently bought an X99 motherboard to build a computing node, only to find it extremely difficult to source a suitable CPU cooler. Refurbished server coolers are extremely noisy and limited in specifications, making them unsuitable for home use. Most standard PC coolers are not compatible with the LGA 2011 socket, and many adopt a top-down cooling design that tends to block the RAM modules.
Given this situation, I decided to repurpose my existing CPU coolers, including a Cooler Master T400 that only came with an LGA 1151 mounting bracket. After failing to find an original LGA 2011 bracket on Taobao, I made this simple design. To prevent insufficient plastic strength, I thickened the bracket to 5mm.
The design itself is fairly straightforward, but since I’ve already made it, I’m sharing it here. If it can help anyone in need and save them the trouble of reinventing the wheel, that’s good enough for me.
Usage: Secure the mounting bracket itself using the T3 screws included with the heatsink. Then fasten the heatsink with the bracket attached to the CPU using the long screws provided with the motherboard.
