A1 Anti-Vibration Damping Feet (Spring Type)

Bambu Lab A1 Anti-Vibration Damping Feet

This is a spring-type, anti-vibration damping foot designed for the Bambu Lab A1.

My main motivation for this design was that my A1 was causing excessive vibration on my workbench, which was affecting other delicate tools on the same table. These feet are designed to absorb and reduce that vibration transfer.

Printing & Material

This design works by using the material's own deformation to absorb vibrations. For this reason, it works best when printed in PLA.

Materials that are too hard (like PPA) or too soft (like TPU) may not provide the desired damping effect. I personally printed these using eSun PLA+.

Installation & Quantity

You will need to print a total of five (5) feet.

• Four (4) feet are used to surround the printer's original rubber feet. The hole in the model is designed to fit over them(No need to remove the original feet!).
• One (1) foot should be placed at the middle bottom of the A1's frame for central support.

Notes & Disclaimer

• AMS on Top: I have not personally tested this design with the AMS unit mounted on top of the A1. This configuration significantly increases the machine's total weight. If you use this setup, you can try printing 2-4 additional feet to help support the extra load, but this is untested.
• Print Quality: These feet are intended to reduce table vibration. They are not specifically designed to improve print quality (though you may or may not see an improvement).
