A1 mini/A1 series Narrow Tool Box

Really wanted a narrow and thin enough tool box that houses the original tools from the A1 mini and as well as extra hotends. Couldn’t find one in any of the repositories, but I found this box that fits the Ender 3 V3 tools. So I generated a rugged box that fits my needs then designed the tool inserts in Fusion360. I used 5mm x 1.5mm neodymium magnets to hold the allen wrenches and the filament cutter blades in place. Then I used this Bambu logo SVG to brand the box.

The overall dimensions of the box are:

• Length - 160.2mm
• Width - 65mm
• Height - 40mm

Still fairly smaller than the ones available with tray inserts 😅

The included files have a 0.025cm tolerance for the trays. I have adjusted this as the ones I printed were at 0.05cm. If you wish to edit the tolerance or any part of the model, the Fusion360 document is provided. I'm too lazy to make different versions of the trays 🤣

Print Settings

Printed on Elegoo Black PLA at 190°C

Bambu 0.28mm Extra Draft preset with the following changes:

For the trays:

• top surface pattern to Hilbert Curve
• 0 bottom shell layers
• 10% infill, honeycomb pattern

For the lids:

• 10% infill, cross hatch pattern
• tree supports on auto, top Z distance to 0.14mm
