This project lets you create a fully customizable  Advent Calendar, where each box is printed individually so you can build the calendar in any layout and size you prefer.

The download includes:

  • A Bambu Lab project file containing the numbers (in two fonts) and several simple pixel/Christmas decorations ready to be printed and applied to the drawers.
  • A customizable OpenSCAD generator that allows you to create all drawers and compartments with your desired dimensions.

Boost MeI put a lot of work into writing the full parametric code that generates every single drawer and compartment, so anyone can easily customize their own Advent Calendar exactly as they want.
If you enjoy the project and it helps you create something special, feel free to leave me a little boost.

Using the Customize button, you can configure:

  • Global drawer height
A single height value applied to all drawers so they can be perfectly stackable.
  • Per-compartment settings:
    • Width (X)
    • Depth (Y)
    • Enable/disable the compartment
    • Enable/disable the inner sliding box (tray)
  • Tray options (per compartment):
    • Generate or not the tray
    • Automatic notch on the front for easy grip
  • Thickness settings:
    • Compartment wall and floor thickness (global)
    • Tray walls (automatically 1 mm thinner than the compartment walls)
    • Tray floor thickness
  • Clearance settings:
    • Global insertion tolerances for smooth sliding fit

Printing Instructions

When you generate your customized model, the STL is exported as one single object containing all compartments and trays.

To print properly:

  1. Import the STL into your slicer
It will appear as one grouped object.
  2. Split the model into separate objects

Then place only the ones you want to print on the build plate.
