Articulated Axolotl (Reinforced)
This is a minor remix of Titan3DPrintingAU's Articulated Axolotl. The original had a flaw in it, where the front legs were only 1 layer thick at the bottom of the joint. Several people (including myself) had the legs snap off when removing from the plate or breaking them free from the body to allow them to move. Despite several people reporting the issue as far back at 2024-02-06, the area has yet to be fixed. My modification includes reinforcing this joint section from being 1 layer thick to being 3 layers thick (0.60mm), which should alleviate the issue.
UPDATES:
11/8/2024 - I modified the design so that the legs will no longer weld to the body, which was causing the legs to snap in some instances when trying to break them free after the print has finished. No supports are needed, you should be able to just remove them from the plate and the legs dangle freely right away. I also straightened the segments up a bit so that I could orient them in a way that you could fit 3 to a plate.
