Ever since I received my AMS, I've had filament retraction issues. It was really bad to start, then I tried every solution I could find online and each one helped incrementally, but it was still failing to retract the filament about 50% of the time.
I was running out of ideas, when I saw a tube guide on makerworld. It wasn't quite the right shape to work for me, but it did help me identify that the problem was the entrance to the buffer mounted on the back of the printer. I designed this shelf to hold the PTFE tube at the right distance from the printer to keep the filament from catching.
Aside from the part, this print requires either four 6x3mm magnets or four 8x3mm magnets. They are press fit. I printed it in PLA at standard settings. I recommend printing it in the default orientation.
If you make it, post your makes and let me know whether it works for you or not!
