Introduction
I've recently purchased a Bambu Lab p1s to upgrade from my previous printer (Ender 3v2 with a lot of replaced parts). I have a shelf that I used for the ender and planned on using for the new bambu lab, however I discovered that with the metal spool holder on the back my shelf lacked a little in depth to be enough to fit the printer. I looked for solution and unfortunately everything I saw included additional mechanical components that I do not have. Therefore, I had to quote Thanos and say "fine, I'll do it myself", and here we are.
Required Parts
• Printer connecting part – 1 pc
• Spool holder – 1 pc
• Bolts from the original spool holder – 2 pc
• PTFE tube – comes in the accessories box – 1 pc
Assembly Instructions
- Print the "printer connecting part" and "spool holder".
- Remove the metal spool holder from the printer.
- Use the bolts from the original spool holder to connect the "printer connecting part" to the holes that were used for the metal spool holder.
- Slide the printed "spool holder" in the cut in the "printer connecting part".
- Pull the PTFE tube inside the printer a bit to the extruder to make place for the additional PTFE tube that goes from the spool to the black rubber sleeve.
