This profile is configured to optimize printing with Bambu Labs PLA Aero LW-PLA filament, a lightweight and high-quality material known for its excellent printability and reduced density, making it ideal for creating lightweight, durable parts with a smooth finish.
Make sure your filament is dried according to its specifications. Generally you want the filament dried to less than 20% relative humidity. You can remove the sample cube shown in this profile and replace it by loading the RC plane/vehicle parts you want to print. In addition make sure to turn off the time-lapse feature when you are printing the LW-PLA. It will help make the parts come out prettier. Lastly disable the "Flow Dynamics Calibration" from the dialog that opens when you click "Print Plate"

- Nozzle Temperature: 235°C – The recommended extrusion temperature for this filament ensures a smooth and consistent flow while minimizing stringing.
- Bed Temperature: 55°C – Helps with adhesion and ensures a stable base layer while preventing warping.

- Layer Height: 0.28 mm – A good balance between quality and speed for most prints, providing smooth surfaces while maintaining solid layer bonding.
Printing a 3D Cube:
When printing a 3D cube sample with this profile, the following steps occur:
- First Layer Adhesion: The bed temperature is set to 55°C, ensuring proper adhesion of the first layer without the risk of warping, while the extruder’s 235°C temperature ensures consistent extrusion.
- Layer by Layer Printing: As the printer lays down the first layer of the cube, the cooling fan kicks in at full speed, ensuring that the lightweight PLA Aero filament solidifies quickly and helps in perfecting the finish.
- Perfect Detail and Smooth Surfaces: With the print speed set at 30-60 mm/s and the cooling fan enabled at 100%, each subsequent layer is placed with precision, giving the cube a smooth finish without stringing or visible defects.
