This is a headphone stand, born from the original 3Dbenchy.
I have modified the following things:
- made house taller and bigger
- increased width of bottom to increase stability
- made storage part in back bigger
The dimensions are: 240mm deep, 281mm tall, 124mm wide
Assembly
The provided .3mf cuts the model in half using diamond shaped pegs. You will need glue to connect the halves.
Follow these steps:
- Add some glue into the hole of the bottom, then insert the peg.
- Add glue on top of the inserted peg.
- Repeat for all 8 pegs. (9 are on the .3mf incase one fails to print)
- Push the two halves together and wait for the glue to dry.
You can also modify the provided .stl to print the model anyway you like.
If you print it without any supports it will still as a good benchmark. My printer struggled a bit with the overhangs.
! You might notice a gap and shift on the cut part. This is caused by me realising only during printing that i had an error in the model. When redoing the cut i forgot to keep the pegs in the same place 🙂. This wont be an issue for you !
